High temperature wheels
High temperature wheels are specially made for use at high temperatures. They are suitable for light to medium duty applications with a load capacity of up to 500 daN. Depending on the series, they are suitable for temperatures between -30°C and 300°C.
The series 67 high temperature wheels are suitable for light to medium duty applications on flat and dry surfaces. In combination with stainless steel brackets, these wheels are also suitable in a damp environment. The wheels are made of heat-resistant synthetic resin that can withstand temperatures from -20°C to 300°C. The ball bearing variant also features two sealed ball bearings with high temperature grease. This variant with ball bearings immediately guarantees optimum performance without squeaking noises, even under high loads and long-term use. Besides the fact that these wheels are useful in an environment with high temperatures, they are also suitable in environments with moderately strong chemicals. These series 67 wheels are widely used in the food processing and chemical industries such as baking ovens, cooking ovens and smoke boxes.
The 68FV series of high temperature wheels are suitable for light to medium loads on dry and level ground. In combination with stainless steel brackets, these wheels are also suitable for use in a damp environment. The wheels are made of glass fiber reinforced polyamide 6 with a hardness of 80 Shore D. The two ball bearings are provided with an additional polyamide labyrinth seal. The wheels can withstand temperatures between -30°C and 120°C. Due to the very low rolling resistance of the wheels, minimal force is required when moving. The wheels are suitable for applications that usually stand still, but have to be moved, for example when cleaning. The wheels are also suitable for cleaning and sterilization in, for example, autoclaves. The wheels are widely used for trolleys and machines in the food processing industry, canneries and tanneries.
The series 72GS high temperature wheels are suitable for light loads in a dry, or not permanently humid, environment. The core of these wheels is made of aluminum and features a red shell icon rubber, hardness 80 Shore A, tread. The wheels are non-marking, elastic, sound-absorbing and resistant to temperatures from -30°C to 250°C. These wheels are suitable for a period of up to 30 minutes in an environment at 250°C. After that, the wheels should rest at room temperature for at least 30 minutes. This makes the wheels suitable and often used in bake-off ovens.
